Taxes are like a stomach virus....
They get passed around and everybody gets it in the end.
Folks, don't you understand that raising taxes on one segment of the population raises the costs on everybody in the long run? If they raised property taxes tomorrow, you'd better be ready to have the rent raised, because the owner of the property isn't going to absorb the cost. The small business owner that you support by shopping at his establishment is going to pass any tax increase along to you. So, tell me again how wonderful raising taxes is....
